Life gets a little rough from time to time. Unfortunate events and rocky roads will come across in our paths. They are often inevitable. Some times we can go through them quickly, some take little longer. However the way we see things and react to the difficult times make a big difference in coping with those moments. In this case, what we all need in living our lives is JOY. We need to find joy in our lives so that we wont get dragged down in that miserable moments. We also need to guard our joy so nothing or no one may be able to steal it away from us.
Let’s take a look at what Bible says about joy, and learn how to get it and how we can ‘dance in the rain’. These following verses are taken from the Holy Bible: New International Version as reminders and guidances for us.

- 1 Samuel 2:1
Then Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.
- Nehemia 8:10
Nehemiah said, ‘Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
- Psalm 4:7
You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.
- Psalm 5:11
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
