We all need healing one way or the other at some point in our live. Many things can happen to us that can cause wounds, sickness, despair and hopelessness. It may be physical, psychological, or even spiritual that needs to be healed.
However we should not be worried because we have an all-powerful God who not only has the power to fully heal us from any undesired condition that may strike us painfully. In fact healing people was one of the things that Jesus loved doing when He was still doing His ministry on earth. He still is passionate about healing people.
There are many Biblical truths that speak about God’s awesome healing power. The following Bible verses (NIV) are some of the examples which we can learn and use to strengthen our faith in God. Please bear in mind that they are taken out of their original context, hence to get more in-depth understanding of the message you may want to read the whole chapter respectively.
- Exodus 15:26
He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

“See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.
