Only By Faith, Not By Religious Works

True Biblical Faith is really our positive response towards what God has provided through His grace.

Faith is just to proclaim what God has provided.

Religious Faith does not move God, nor does it make Him do anything.

We don’t have faith so that He will do something for us, We have faith in Him because He has done something for us.

If you don’t realize that faith is your way to receive what God provides for you by His Grace, then legalistic will kill you.

There are people who emphasize on “We have to be praying and fasting for days, we have to do this and that. We have to do something”. They are so focused on their performances until they think that their “performance” is the one that moves God.

This is a legalistic thinking or religious faith, which is carried down from generation to generation that destroy you.

The wrong perception about faith will put all the burdens on your shoulders.

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

By His Grace, God has provided every thing for you.

It is common for people to believe that their performance is the one producing extra favor of God and God deign in their lives.

When you start connecting God’s blessing with what you have done, then you have overwritten God’s grace.

You have made God’s blessing in your live matched with what you’ve done.

If you think like this, then you don’t understand about God’s grace!

God’s grace is freely given to you. “It is not given because you have met certain qualifications, not some kind of wages. It is an unmerited favor from God.”

Have your good deeds and your religious works qualified you to receive God’s grace?
